Jeremy here, again. We just got this great letter from a customer in Oak Hill. I asked her if we could share it and she said, yes, just don’t use her name. Our vision is to provide the greatest customer experience in housecleaning with the world’s greatest employees. Well, this letter demonstrates both, so I will post below and let it speak for itself. Enjoy!
Hello,
I thought you might be interested in a chronicle of the stressful events at my home today along with a description of how well the team handled them.
About halfway through the cleaning, Ellena Q. came to the door to the patio to tell me “Your bathroom has one neck” and held up her index fingers about six inches apart. I could not understand the message so I came inside to see. There was a snake in there!
In that bath, there are three small mats. One of these poor women had lifted a mat to discover the critter underneath! We all stood around in amazement for a bit, while I tried to figure out how I was either going to remove it or instead close it up in there, have them skip the room, and leave the snake for my husband to deal with later. Simply closing the doors was not an option because there is a gap between the bottom of the door and the top of the floor or carpet that adjoins the bathroom.
Ellena suggested a jar. I went to get one, and she took it from me to perform the job herself. It didn’t work, so she turned the trash can on its side and finally got the snake inside it. Then she covered the end with some flat part of the ladies’ equipment. She took the apparatus outside with me following, and I had her just use the trash can to hurl the snake into the street. That wasn’t enough for Ellena — she took that flat part and killed it. I told her, and then repeated to the team, that she is WonderWoman.
Somehow, everyone stayed calm and resumed their work. At the end, Victoria came to tell me they were finished and asked if I wanted to look around. I declined, as I usually do, but then she asked me if I had had two rings on the dresser in my room. I wasn’t sure, but when I accompanied her there, I saw that my engagement ring was on the dresser but the anniversary ring was not. They are always together. Victoria said it was her job to notice jewelry when they arrive, and she was sure they both had been there. We looked all through the jewelry box, underneath the dresser, in my purse which was on the floor next to the dresser, in the newly made bed as well as the dirty sheets that had been removed. At this point, we were out of ideas, but could not believe any likelihood that one of the ladies had taken it. In desperation, I asked Victoria if any of the ladies was new to the team. She did not answer me, which is exactly what she should have done. She was perfectly correct not to answer that question.
She was just about to give up and go “ask the girls” when I got on my hands and knees and saw the ring underneath the nightstand some feet away. Apparently, it had been swept off the dresser when the ladies were changing the sheets. We were both greatly relieved. If Victoria had not acted pro-actively by noticing the jewelry. noticing the ladies’ activity of changing the sheets standing in that area, and then asking me about the jewelry’s absence, I would not have known what to think. She is a wonderful team leader.
After the ladies left, I noticed a white box sitting on a piece of furniture. As I didn’t recognize it, I went out as they were loading the car and asked if it were theirs. Victoria said it had fallen off my doorbell. I do not fault anyone for forgetting to tell me, given the stress of the other incidents. But the fact that this box fell off proved that the ladies were being thorough b/c they must have been dusting, and that equipment is located extremely high on the wall.
These ladies deserve whatever rewards are available to them for a job well done!
Thanks so much for the terrific dependability of your organization.
