Q. Is The Maids bonded and insured?

A. We carry the best insurance available. Not only are we bonded, but we also carry workman's compensation, crime, and liability insurance. Included in this insurance coverage is The Maids, our team members and your home. We can send you a certificate that will validate our insurance. You should ask for the specifics about the insurance coverage that our competitors carry when you are comparing services. Most services ad independents don't carry insurance for workman's compensation.

Q. How will The Maids protect my keys?

A. Your key will not be identified with your address or your name; only with a number. Only our managers will have access to our key that will be securely locked in a key storage device. On the day of your house cleaning the key will be issued to your team leader. At the end of the day, the team leader will return it to management and management will return your key to the secured container. At the end of every business day, a complete inventory of all keys is conducted. We will contact you to make the appropriate arrangements in the unlikely event that your key becomes lost.

Q. Must I be home when The Maids clean?

A. Not necessarily. It is really up to you. When we visit, some of our customers leave a key for us in a safe place. However, we don't recommend this because this isn't a very safe practice even if that safe place is alarmed. Many of our customers will leave us a key that is secured in our office. Either you can provide us with the exit/entry code to the alarm system or you can leave it turned off. By far, the most problem free and efficient way for everybody is for you to give us the alarm codes and a key.

Q. How many people will clean my home?

A. One of the members of our team of four cleaning professionals will be a supervisor or team leader. Teams that contain four members have proven to be the most effective  since each member can place all of their efforts on a specific job while cleaning your home. Should one of the team members be unable to be present, the remaining three  team members will make sure that your home will be cleaned the way that we promised that it would be cleaned. Our cleaning jobs include dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, and kitchens.

Q. Will I always have the same cleaning team?

A. It is our intention to provide you with the same team, but under some circumstances such as accidents, holidays, bad weather, and sickness that are beyond our control we may sometimes require the substitution of a team member. However, we will continue your high quality service because each team has your personal service records, follows the same system if cleaning, and receives the same training. Don't forget that our cleaning services are guaranteed.

Q. Are The Maids cleaning teams supervised and trained?

A. Prior to our team members being allowed to enter your home, they are rigorously trained. As we learn about new techniques and products this training will continue in order to reinforce our prior training. To ensure that all of the cleaning jobs are completed correctly, each team will include a team leader. In order to make sure that we are meeting all of our service commitments. our leaders in the field will make periodic visits to your home.

Q. How do I pay for The Maids cleaning services?

A. Your payment is due at time of our services. You may pay by American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, personal check, or cash. We will ask you for payment for the full estimated amount due in addition to tax if you aren't there during our special project of first. We will apply any refund to out next visit or refund the difference if it should take less time to clean your house than we estimated at your discretion. We will ask you to leave the payment on your kitchen counter for regularly scheduled visits. We will handle your payment by credit card from our office.

Q. What is the cost to clean my home?

Q. What service area does The Maids cover?

A.  Currently, we service as far west as Dripping Springs and the IH-35  corridor to New Braunfels as well as all of the Greater Austin Metro. Please call us should you have any questions on if we service the area that you are located in. See our Service Areas on the left side of this page.
